Here you will cheats/codes for the PC game, Age of Empires. These codes have all been tested and if they do not work, please contact Microsoft, as I did not make the game. To enter the cheat, press Enter during a normal game, then type in the cheat, and press Enter once more.
Codes:
REVEAL MAP
Reveals the map, but the "Fog of War" stays. Land forms are revealed.
NO FOG
Removes "Fog of War". All terrain explored is kept visible as if you had a person there watching.
PEPPERONI PIZZA
Gives you (and only you) 1000 food.
WOODSTOCK
Gives you (and only you) 1000 wood.
COINAGE
Gives you (and only you) 1000 gold.
QUARRY
Gives you (and only you) 1000 stone.
STEROIDS
Allows you to build/train whatever you want with no waiting time. One click and it's done building/training/upgrading. Affects ALL players though.
DIEDIEDIE
Everyone dies except for you. Not exactly safe if you want to win a scenario without risking the possibility of losing.
RESIGN
You resign from the game.
HARI KARI
Suicide. All your men and buildings die at the same time. Pretty cool if you are going to lose anyways. You kinda go down with a "bang".
HOME RUN
Automatically wins scenario no matter what.
KILLx
Automatically kills player x, where x is the player's starting position. If you enter KILL2, player 2 (red player) automatically dies. Here is a list of all the player's number:
Player 1 - Blue
Player 2 - Red
Player 3 - Yellow
Player 4 - Brown
Player 5 - Orange
Player 6 - Can't remember
Player 7 - Can't remember
Player 8 - Can't remember
Player 9 - Gaia (All animals and "hidden" people)
GAIA
Switch to gaia control. Gives you ability to command all animals, including birds, but not fish. Also gives you control of hidden characters (people you need to find).
BIG BERTHA
Transforms stone throwers, catapults, and heavy catapults to Big Berthas. Big Berthas have 16 range, 0 armour, attack of 65, health of 200, and a range of attack of about 8 squares in diameter.
ICBM
Ballistas and Helipolis gat +90 range points. Making 100 in all. Will not shoot at people out of 10 range, but will shoot at buildings under 100 range.
HOYOHOYO
Priests have 600 health, and move about 400% faster. The priest may move back and forth very quickly sometimes. This works best BEFORE you research "Double Priest Hit Points" and "Priest Moves 40% faster. If you do this, the priest will have 1200 health and a speed of 560% of their normal speed. This is a really cool cheat.
MEDUSA
Changes villagers into Medusas. Villagers now have 65 health. Also, when the villager is killed, it will turn into a "Black Rider". When the Black Rider is killed, it will turn into a Heavy Catapult.
BLACK RIDER
Transforms Horse Archer into a "Black Rider". Health of 60 and attack of 8. NOT reccommended to use after you have researched Heavy Horse Archer.
DARK RAIN
Transforms all walking archers into Stealth Archers. When standing still, the archers look like trees. Range of 9, attack of 10. Thebest part is that te archers can walk across water. The worst part is that you cannot control who they shoot at. You can control where they go though. They will automatically attack at whatever comes into their range.
PHOTON MAN
Trains a Nuke Trooper at your Town Center. Attack of 15, armour 10, range of 15, and health of 100. Best for long rang infantry killing. Moves fast.
E=MC2 TROOPER
Trains a different Nuke Trooper at your Town Center. Attack of 300, armour 10, range of 88, and health of 100. Takes a long time to reload, best for long range building destruction. Close range attacks can kill your own men.
BIGDADDY
Trains a nuke car at your Town Center. Attack of 300, range 15. Reloads pretty fast. Very accurate. Best for killing small groups of infantry and long range building destruction.
JACK BE NIMBLE
Not helpful, but pretty funny. All Catapults now launch cows, villagers with capes (but no pants), or tumbling villagers instead of rocks, depending on which direction you are firing at.
FLYING DUTCHMAN
You probably remember this title from the scenario editor, but probably don't know what it is. It's an improved version of a Juggernaut. Attack 65, armour 0, range 12. Not effective at destroying towers, or other buildings, but great for sinking ships, and destroying small groups of infantry. The best aspect of this ship is that you can take it onto land. It moves about as fast as a normal person, but it is very long range dependant. It will not fire at the attacker if it is being attacked by an axman, or another type of close up attacker.
